Our mission through Amity Youth Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading is to provide boys and girls of Bethany, Orange and Woodbridge, ages 3-13, the opportunity to learn about teamwork, discipline, commitment, character and of course, FUN!!  Our goal is to provide our youth the opportunity to learn about and participate in the sports of football and cheerleading while building a strong foundation and feeder program for Amity High School Athletics.  We strive to develop the finest program possible for our children by providing and maintaining the safest equipment available, encouraging good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support and respect for all, providing a safe and structured environment and teaching fundamental values, skills and knowledge that our children will use throughout their lives.

Overview of Cheerleading:

Practice starts on August 1st and typically is Monday thru Friday evenings. Days and start/end times may vary per team. Keep a lookout for a welcome email from your head coach. Games start Labor Day weekend and run for 8 weeks. Your cheerleader may have to go to games after that depending on the football team's record. There are two competitions in October that the teams perform at and depending on placement they can move on to regionals in November and possibly on to Florida for Nationals in December. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
